Successful 2025 SALA exhibition: Birdsong and Baby Dreams

I'm excited to share that my 2025 SALA Festival exhibition, Birdsong and Baby Dreams, was a wonderful success! Held at Out of the Cot, a beautiful children's furniture store, the exhibition brought together art and storytelling to create a whimsical, nature-inspired space. I'm grateful to everyone who visited, shared their kind words, and connected with the pieces in such a meaningful way.

Two Paintings Find New Homes

During the exhibition, two of my pieces found homes! One of the sold works, Marsupial Magic, is a colorful, joyful illustration featuring three koalas playing and frolicking together in a burst of bright, rainbow hues. It was a true joy to create, and I’m thrilled it resonated with viewers.

The second sold piece was Twist, my painting of a yellow-tailed black cockatoo, which was previously selected as a finalist for the Waterhouse Natural Sciences Art Prize. This piece captures the graceful and striking twist of the cockatoo mid-flight, blending realism with a touch of whimsy.

Thanks to Out of the Cot and SALA

Having Birdsong and Baby Dreams at Out of the Cot was a unique experience—its playful, warm atmosphere complemented the art perfectly, creating an inviting space where both children and adults could enjoy the pieces. A huge thank you to the wonderful team at Out of the Cot for hosting me and to the SALA Festival for this opportunity to connect with the community.

Thank you to everyone who supported the exhibition!
