Watching.

Introducing 'Watching'. This stunning acrylic painting is a portrait of a Kookaburra, inspired by a reference photograph taken by my good friend Iliana Lucchesi in the Grampians. I painted the bird in profile to showcase the brilliant flash of bright blue feathers against the warm, fluffy brown ones.

I paid special attention to the bird's striking and prominent eye to capture its captivating personality and bring the painting to life. I used multiple layers of acrylic paint to create a realistic and detailed image that truly captures the essence of the subject.
